As you might know, the 2008 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions totaled $141 million, $29 million short of the $170 million goal. Because of this shortfall, “appointments to International Service Corps and Masters programs were suspended and other missionary appointments severely restricted.” However, recently additional funds have been coming in to help offset some of the shortfall. Lets continue to pray that God will move his people to give that his name may be glorified to the ends of the earth.
