Lifeway Research President Ed Stetzer spoke with Crossing Community Church Pastor Dustin Neeley in the short video below. This is part of a video series recorded at Sojourn’s 930 Art Center, the host site for the Acts 29 Network 2009 Louisville Boot Camp (Ambition).
In this video, Dr. Stetzer discusses:
- Figuring out if you have a call to church planting
- Staying the course
- Mistakes to avoid in church planting (part one)
Ed Stetzer has planted churches in New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia and transitioned declining churches in Indiana and Georgia. He has trained pastors and church planters on five continents, holds two masters degrees and two doctorates, and has written dozens of articles and books.
Dustin Neeley is a former Sojourner who is now the pastor of Crossing Church in East Louisville, which we planted in 2005. Sojourn Lead Pastor Daniel Montgomery asked him to partner with us during the Louisville Boot Camp by shooting a series of video interviews with church planters, pastors and Acts 29 leaders.
Last week you saw the beginning of this project: two video interviews with Village Church Pastor Matt Chandler. Look for many more short, insightful video interviews in the weeks to come — more from Dr. Stetzer and from many other church planters, pastors and leaders in the Acts 29 Network.. And feel free to embed these videos in your own blogs, Tweet them, link to them and talk about them.
