Short Video Interviews with Ohio Church Planter Nick Nye (Veritas Community Church)

by Bobby Gilles on December 17, 2009

Nick Nye is a former intern, community group leader and member of Sojourn Community Church.  He and his wife Brittany left Sojourn in 2008 to plant Veritas Community Church in Columbus, OH, the home of Ohio State University.   Crossing Church Pastor Dustin Neeley recorded this interview at Sojourn’s 930 Art Center, the host site for the Acts 29 Network 2009 Louisville Boot Camp (Ambition):

In this YouTube interview, discusses:

  • The “one thing” church planters need to know
  • How Veritas has loved their city in a way that is reproducible by other planters
  • What God has used in their lives to help them succeed from the outset

Then in the video below, Pastor Nick Nye talks about an event Veritas is hosting February 6, 2010 called Act Like Men:

Dustin Neeley is a former Sojourner who is now the pastor of Crossing Church in East Louisville, which we planted in 2005. Sojourn Lead Pastor Daniel Montgomery asked him to partner with us during the Louisville Boot Camp by shooting a series of video interviews with church planters, pastors and Acts 29 leaders.  Follow Pastor Dustin on his church planting blog, Church Planting For The Rest Of Us.
