Sojourn Pastor’s School

by admin on August 28, 2009

Pastor's SchoolAugust 6th of this year we launched our first year of Sojourn’s Pastor’s School. 52 emerging leaders meet with the elders of Sojourn and are instructed and challenged each week to work through eldership, preaching, biblical counseling, mission/mercy & evangelism, culture & worship, and pastoral care. The 40-week school is broken into six 6-week modules covering each of the above topics. So far this year, we are three weeks into the first module on biblical eldership. Attached are the notes from Weeks 1-3. Stay tuned to the CPC blog and we will post future material that is constantly being worked and reworked.

(The next opportunity to jump in is January…applications are due by December 15th, 2009. check here for more details)

Dude, this is so awesome, thanks so much for this posting. Is this the assigned reading, if not is there any chance you could post the reading list, reader, or email it to a Sojourner hoping to do some independent study in a far off land?

Jason,
The reading schedule is on pages 12-14 of the packet for week #1. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions just let me know.

Thanks

Michael
