“The Church Planting Center @ Sojourn (CPC) seeks to see the gospel transform everything by facilitating the training and sending out of church planters in North America and to the ends of the earth.”

In the Redeemer Church Planter Manual, Tim Keller and J. Allen Thompson present three reasons for church planting, which we wholeheartedly agree with.  First, planting churches is the best way to fulfill the Great Commission. Second, in the New Testament we see that Paul’s strategy was that of planting churches.  Finally, experience shows that new churches best reach new generations, new residents, new people groups, and the unreached.  For these reasons, we believe that church planting is one of the most important tasks a local church can invest in.
