Sojourn M.Div.

Master of Divinity: Contextualized Urban Missions

In partnership with the the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Sojourn Community Church is providing an opportunity for those called to the ministry to get their academic training hand-in-hand with practical ministry experience at Sojourn.

The program is designed for incoming students* to take their 58 core units of the M.Div. degree in the BGS during their first two years of the program (years 1 and 2).  During the second two years of the program (years 3 and 4), students will intern at Sojourn and take their final 30 units of electives in areas relating to preaching, leadership, strategy development, mercy ministries, and the arts. Please note that students are only allowed to take 22 units off-site (SBTS).

Many of these electives will be offered in combination with Sojourn-sponsored conferences and seminars.  Students need to select their electives in consultation with the Church Planting Center at Sojourn.

*Please note that Sojourn M.Div. is open to incoming students only.
